Getting there - San Siro is about 4 miles out of town on the west side. As you would expect from a major city it is well served by public transport and for most thats the subway system. Take the subway, Line M5 (Linea Lilla), San Siro Stdio Stop or Line M1 (Linea Rossa) Piazzale Lotto stop, then walk along Viale Caprilli Street until the San Siro. Once in the surroundings of the stadium there are alot of mobile food vendors around before heading inside.
Getting in - For this game I paid top dollar via the clubs website. As it was the Derby d'Italia versus Juventus complete with Ronaldo, the ticket prices were high for footy tourists like me. For lower level games your best bet would be to register with their site and get access when they go on general sale. The section we were in was a mix of football tourists (complete with Juventus kit on ) and home supporters (who didnt like seeing Juventus kits in the home end).
What is like - San Siro is certainly one for the bucket list and this game didnt disappoint from the moment you entered with home fans in great voice and even better in the massive banner competition. It was a good , fairly even and entertaining game with Juve taking an early through Dybala , Ronaldo hitting the bar, Inter equalising via the penalty spot before Ronaldo again the in the action having a goal ruled out for offside. Another Argentinian in the form of Higuan settled it 10 mins from time to make it 2-1 to Juventus.
Probably not a great idea to go in the home end with the visiting teams kit on!
