Getting there - not very easy so you kind of have to be visiting as I was rather than making a dedicated trip. Nearest train station is 4 miles away in Loreto which to get to you need to change in Ancona. The stadium (Nicola Tubaldi) sits a 5-10 minute walk from the main square where there are a few bars and restaurants. It has an artificial surface and the entire stadium capacity sits along one side of the pitch. where there are a series of seating decked out in the home team colours of yellow and red.
Getting in - tickets online from VIVATICKET. They go on sale a couple days before the game. Prices from 10 to 15 euro although under 12's are free or 1.55 admin charge. You can show your ticket on your mobile with a form of ID (i used my UK driving licence).
What its like - This was my second time watching Recanatese and Pontedera in this particular season but the first time they played against each other. A crowd of about 500 had turned out to watch with 6 Pontedera fans housed in a separate section.
1 goal had been scored in the two separate games i had seen previously involving them so it was no surprise that this ended 1-0 to Recanatese. The goal came mid way though second half from their star man Sbafo, although there were a couple of bars and posts hit as well from the home team. Really enjoyable experience, especially with the early evening sun warming us up as the game kicked off.
